Funny enough, I *just* bought a bottle of this during the Serge Lutens sale going on right now. It's quite expensive at retail pricing, so getting over $100 off was helpful (though still a lot). It's just so fascinating.

Another tuberose I'm enjoying right now is Champs Lunaires from Rogue Perfumery. The slightest little touch of coconut milk and musk really compliment the tuberose and make it really creamy.

Ooooh, coconut and musk with tuberose??! Sounds lovely. I bought my bottle back in 2013 or so. I paid $150, not sure what current pricing looks like.

It is quite lovely. I like rogue as a house since he focuses on ‘classic’ perfumery. Many of them feel like time capsules. Pricing is good too!

The new bottles of TC are $375 unfortunately. I believe it was discontinued for a time and re-released repackaged in the special black bottles like fille en aiguilles and others. However, even the bottles like what you have and that I have for ambre sultan are now retailing between 200-300 (most are 290) and the bell jars are $320. Expensive!

Yes, that is pricy. I’ve been wanting to sample Rogue but I live in Canada and with the tariffs, I can’t justify the additional expense right now. As for bottle collecting in general, you’d have a hard time convincing me to pay anything over $250 USD.

Oh yeah, international shipping is a bit rough right now. I do agree with the bottles. That tends to be around where I will cut off too unless it's something life-changing I need. Even then, sometimes it's better to go in half with someone and decant, too.
